I'm Nyah, an independent travel agent with a genuine love for discovering new places and creating unforgettable experiences. Years spent as cabin crew took me across the globe long before I started planning trips professionally, giving me first-hand insight into airlines, airports and destinations that you won't find in a brochure. My goal is to make booking your next trip feel exciting, simple and completely personal.

Notes From The Road, Before You Book It

From under-the-radar islands to cities having a real moment, here are the places I keep recommending to clients this year — and why they're worth booking sooner rather than later.
Travel trends are always changing, but some destinations have that little something that makes them worth adding to your list. From Mediterranean escapes to far-flung islands, these are the places I'm keeping on my radar for travellers looking for something special.
Albania — Think turquoise water, beautiful beaches and charming coastal towns without the same feel as some of Europe's more established hotspots. The Albanian Riviera, particularly around Ksamil and Himarë, is perfect for travellers looking for sunshine and scenery.
Japan — For something completely different, Japan offers an incredible mix of culture, food, shopping and unforgettable scenery. Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka can easily be combined into one trip, making it ideal for first-time visitors.
Morocco — From the colourful streets of Marrakech to the beaches of Agadir, Morocco works beautifully for both short breaks and longer holidays. Add a beautiful riad, rooftop dinner or desert experience and it becomes a trip to remember.
Madeira — A great choice for travellers wanting something beyond the typical beach holiday. Madeira combines dramatic landscapes, beautiful hotels, local food and plenty of opportunities to explore.
Rio de Janeiro — For travellers looking for energy, culture and incredible scenery, Rio offers a little bit of everything. Copacabana, Ipanema, Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer make it particularly memorable.

Overwater villas, private beach coves and the kind of service that remembers your order — my edit of the beach resorts that actually live up to the photos.
There's something special about arriving somewhere and immediately feeling like you can switch off. Think warm evenings, beautiful water, soft sand and a hotel where everything has been considered for you.
For the ultimate luxury beach escape, the Maldives is a classic choice, particularly for overwater villas, private pools and that feeling of complete privacy.
Seychelles is perfect for dramatic beaches and lush scenery, while Mauritius offers a beautiful combination of beaches, luxury resorts and experiences away from the coastline.
For something closer to Europe, consider Santorini, Mykonos or the Amalfi Coast for beautiful hotels, sea views and long evenings overlooking the water.
And if you want something truly bucket-list worthy, Bora Bora offers those iconic turquoise lagoons and overwater stays that make you feel like you've stepped into a postcard.

A long weekend can still feel like an escape. Here's how I plan city breaks that pack in the right amount of culture, food and downtime — without feeling rushed.
You don't always need two weeks away to feel like you've had a proper escape. A long weekend in the right city can give you the perfect combination of exploring somewhere new, enjoying great food and having time to slow down.
Paris is perfect for beautiful cafés, shopping and romantic evenings, while Rome offers history, incredible food and plenty to explore. For something a little more glamorous, Dubai combines luxury hotels, restaurants, shopping and sunshine.
If you're after something further afield, New York is ideal for food, shopping and sightseeing, while Tokyo offers an entirely different experience with incredible food, neighbourhoods and culture.
The key is choosing a destination that works with the amount of time you have — and planning your days without making the trip feel rushed.

Thinking about where to go but not sure where to start? These are the destinations coming up most in my conversations with clients right now, and what's driving the appeal.
Sometimes the hardest part of planning a holiday is deciding where to go. Are you imagining yourself somewhere tropical, wandering through European streets or waking up somewhere completely new?
For sun and relaxation, destinations such as Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles and the Greek Islands are perfect for switching off. If you're looking for culture and city life, consider Rome, Paris, Dubai, New York or Tokyo.
And if adventure is more your style, places like Iceland, Costa Rica and South Africa offer incredible scenery and experiences beyond the traditional resort holiday.
The best destination really depends on what you want to get out of your trip — and that's where personalised planning makes all the difference.
